Chapter 9
Web Console
9.1 Introduction
The Rhino SLEE Web Console is a web application that provides access to management operations of the Rhino SLEE. Using
the Web Console, the SLEE administrator can deploy applications, provision profiles, view usage parameters, configure resource
adaptors, etc. The Web Console enables the administrator to interact directly with the management objects (known as MBeans)
within the SLEE.
9.2 Operation
9.2.1 Connecting and Login
To connect to the Web Console, use the URL that was displayed at the end of the installation process. This will normally be
https://hostname:8443/
(where
hostname
is the name of the host where the Rhino SLEE is running). The following login
screen will be presented:
The default username is
admin
, and the password is
password
. (In a production environment, this should obviously be changed
to something more secure – see the configuration section below for information.)
Once the username and password have been verified, the Web Console will retrieve the management beans (MBeans) from the
MBean Server, and display the main page of the Web Console.
