2.2 Service Logic Execution Environment
The Service Logic Execution Environment (SLEE) category includes:
• The Rhino SLEE server. The Rhino SLEE is compliant with the JAIN SLEE 1.0 specification, which includes the JAIN
SLEE component model, management interfaces, and integration framework.
• SLEE Management tools. These are applications which perform management operations of the running Rhino SLEE.
Their are two main management tools used by system administrators and developers to deploy and manage services,
profiles and resource adaptors: the Web Console and the Command Console.
• The Resource Adaptor Architecture. Resource Adaptors are adaptors to externally available system resources, such
as network protocol stacks. The Resource Adaptor Architecture allows services to be portable across many network
protocols.
2.3 Integration
The Integration category includes:
• Pre-built Resource Adaptors for integration with common external systems, for example SIP and JCC.
• Tools to rapidly build new Resource Adaptors and Services.
• Integration with enterprise RDBMS SQL database servers.
• Security integration with LDAP directory systems and J2EE web servers.
• Duplex communications with J2EE application servers.
Open Cloud also has Resource Adaptor offerings for SS7 and IP signalling protocols and other messaging protocols, these are
are available on demand. Please contact Open Cloud for more information.
